I tried opening as admin, reinstalling the game again and copying manually each crack of the game and the patches. Today i pictured myself all day controlling all of western europe when i finished working, but to my sad surprise i just opened the game and nothing happened. When asked to overwrite the file say 'Yes/Confirm/Please' - if you do not get a prompt to overwrite then you have somehow messed up a three step set of instructions. Downloaded the files, reinstalled the whole game (just in case), and opened it succesfully to check out that the “form the HRE” decision was available, which it was. A couple days ago i started my first run as Charlemagne in 769 only to find out that this start was bugged in this version and that it wouldn’t be possible to form the Holy Roman Empire, ruining the experience.Īfter trying to mod my way out in that version, failing in the attempt, i came here yesterday to update my patches. It had all been peace and flowers since then, being the second game of paradox that i was trying and falling completely in love with it. I’ve been playing the 3.0 version of holy fury since august of 2019. Run CK2, and check/tick the mod from the DLC/MOD section of the launcher.
